The next “Breakfast and company tour at Mimotec & Sigatec” is taking place on 9 October in Sion.
Micronarc regularly organises breakfasts or lunches at companies or partners in its ecosystem. These moments of networking and exchange enable you to plunge into the heart of innovation around industrial, micro and nano themes. During this event, participants will get t visit two companies:
Mimotec has developed an innovative technology, UV-LIGA, which pushes back the limits of traditional manufacturing methods.
This process, widely proven in the watchmaking industry, offers an industrial solution for the miniaturisation of components, opening up new prospects in sectors such as connector technology, microfluidics and micromolds.
Sigatec specialises in the manufacture of silicon micromechanical components.
It manufactures parts mainly for the watchmaking sector, as well as, for example, for the aerospace and biomedical industries.
Key activities are carried out in clean rooms, in an extremely clean environment.
The technology they use enables them to achieve near-micron precision with complex geometries that are difficult to achieve using traditional methods.
The number of participants is limited to 25 people.
