In this workshop, Prof. Oliver Hartley will talk about the development path a biomedical discovery must take if it is to evolve from academia to application/market and how it is linked to a value chain of investment and return. He will describe the challenges his projects have faced along the way, and how they have been overcome. He will highlight key inflection points in the value chain and how these provide openings for increasing levels of investment.
