The SILAB medico-culinary chat, with a conference followed by an apero


Things are heating up in our soil and in our bodies. Scientists are alarmed to see increasingly aggressive pollutants infiltrating our living environments (soil, air, water, etc.). Caregivers are noting a growing number of deficiencies among our fellow citizens and an unprecedented explosion in oncological pathologies. Chefs lament the fact that certain beneficial foods and cooking methods have been forgotten. Toxicologist Vincent Perret, Dr. Dominique Truchot-Cardot and chef Philippe Ligron will be delighted to combine their expertise on the subject. The Clinique de La Source duo of Amanda Bovey, dietician, and Amorn Sapprasurt, dietetic cook, will demonstrate that cooking with optimal nutritional intake is simple and delicious.


The concept

With Toque et Doc, the Source Innovation Lab (SILAB) combines its medical skills with the culinary expertise of a chef to dissect the major issues in nutrition. This winning combination takes a global approach to these issues, the better to dispel preconceived ideas and urban legends. Organized twice a year, these informal conferences take an unusual, cross-disciplinary look at major nutritional issues.
