OneDoc Merges With Medicosearch

OneDoc, the leading Swiss platform for booking online medical appointments, has acquired Medicosearch. This transaction is another important step in the development of the Geneva-based company, consolidating its position as the leading player in digital healthcare in Switzerland, with over 13,000 registered healthcare professionals and more than 350,000 consultations booked online each month. The new group will be made up of all 80 employees of OneDoc and Medicosearch, and is expected to grow to more than 100 by next year.

 

 

OneDoc announces the acquisition of Medicosearch, strengthening its position as the largest digital healthcare player in Switzerland. This transaction will enable the platform to further accelerate the digital transformation of the Swiss healthcare system by combining the technological expertise, regional roots and complementary strengths of the two companies, which have been working alongside patients and healthcare professionals for almost a decade.

Thanks to this acquisition, OneDoc is consolidating its position as the leader in digital healthcare in Switzerland, with more than 13,000 registered healthcare professionals and 350,000 consultations booked online every month. ‘This merger is first and foremost a shared vision,’ explains Arthur Germain, co-founder and CEO of OneDoc, ’From day one, our teams have been working to simplify the daily lives of healthcare professionals while streamlining patient care. For patients, the unification of the platforms under the OneDoc brand offers a simplified and consistent experience: a single point of access to a vast network of healthcare professionals in all the country’s language regions, with a wide choice of consultation slots. Healthcare professionals benefit from improved visibility, new digital tools to optimise the management of their business, and local support tailored to the specific needs of each region. Finally, institutional and technological partners – business software publishers, healthcare applications tierces, health authorities – benefit from a single point of contact and a homogeneous infrastructure, facilitating long-term collaboration.
