BIND – BioInnovation Day

BIND – BioInnovation Day is an exclusive technology showcase and networking event that brings together Life Sciences innovators and investors.

The BIND is an event that was initially organised by UNITEC, the Technology transfer office of the University of Geneva (UNIGE) and The Hospital of Geneva, and the PACTT, the Technology transfer office of University of Lausanne (UNIL) and University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), to showcase the best of the academic life sciences research in Western Switzerland universities. From 2025, BioAlps is taking over the organisation of the event.

On 1 April 2025, 30 groundbreaking life science projects from leading academic institutions in Western Switzerland— pitched in front of an audience of investors, academic and industry representatives. The event attracted +260 persons.
An Innovation village gathered sponsors and support organisms from the Swiss Health Valley.

In 2026, BIND will be organised in Canton of Vaud. Date and location will be announced in September 2026.
