The Ypsomed Innovation Awards encourage innovative and entrepreneurial teams or individuals to align their scientific work with real market needs and to transform their developments into impactful products or services.
Submissions should demonstrate novelty, economic feasibility, and clear potential for market implementation—whether through new processes, methods, products, or services.
💡 Prizes
The award is endowed with a total of CHF 100,000:
- 1st Prize: CHF 50,000
- Two Runner-up Prizes: CHF 25,000 each
🎓 Eligibility
Projects must have been predominantly developed within a university setting and should align with the objectives of the award donor.
Applications are welcome from:
- Students, assistants, and lecturers
- Research groups and university teams
- Newly founded companies that have emerged from the university environment and are looking to bring a project to market
