Swiss Health Valley medtech Aspivix, based at Biopôle, has successfully closed its second crowdfunding campaign on Capital Cell, raising €836,285 against an initial target of €675,545, a 123.8% oversubscription that confirms investors’ continued appetite for the company’s story.
Aspivix develops carevix®, a CE-marked, FDA-approved cervical stabilizer designed to replace traditional Pozzi forceps in gynecological procedures such as IUD insertion. Clinical trials have shown significant reductions in pain, bleeding, and cervical trauma compared to conventional instruments, and the device is now marketed in 19 countries, generating commercial revenue.
This latest success builds directly on the company’s first public fundraising effort, which ultimately raised over €1.9 million from more than 300 investors.
The proceeds will fuel Aspivix’s commercial expansion across the US and Europe, strengthen its market traction, and support development of carevix® EVO, the company’s next-generation platform.
“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who invested, shared our ambition and gave us another powerful push forward. Your support helps us accelerate the commercialization of carevix® and continue challenging the status quo in women’s healthcare. Our journey does not stop here: we will now continue our fundraising with institutional investors.,” said CEO Matthieu Horras.
Once again, Aspivix is proving that Swiss Health Valley innovation in women’s health doesn’t just attract clinicians and hospitals — it attracts capital, too.
