The full programme for the BioAlps Networking Day is coming soon — but we couldn’t wait to introduce our keynote speaker: Prof. Marcel Salathé. Professor at EPFL and co-director of the AI Centre, Marcel Salathé sits at the fascinating crossroads of artificial intelligence and public health. A pioneer in digital epidemiology, he harnesses internet data and AI to anticipate and address health challenges at a population scale. He also founded the EPFL Extension School, making digital skills accessible to all. His latest book — AI: How Not to Lose Our Way? (available in French) — is a must-read. We can’t wait to hear what he has to say!
