Swiss companies and research institutes are invited to undertake R&D projects partnering with Japanese start-up and SMEs. Apply before 20 January 2027.
This call is open for all R&D projects, excluding technologies associated with nuclear power, pharmaceutical development, and regenerative medicine product development.
Examples of scope include, but are not limited to quantum technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, semiconductors, electronics, energy and environment, biotechnology, new materials, medical devices, aerospace, mining, and other industrial technologies.
Switzerland is participating with the following countries: Belgium, Canada, United Kingdom, Austria, Estonia, France, Germany, Israel, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Turkey.
Large companies, universities, and research institutions may participate in projects led by Japanese startups that apply for the programme as subcontractors and/or joint research partners.
On the Japanese side, NEDO is the funding body responsible for this call for projects.
