evismo, QUMEA, and Bonebridge have reached the finals for the renowned Swiss Medtech Award 2025. The three companies will compete for a chance to win this prestigious honour recognising innovation and entrepreneurial excellence in the Swiss medtech sector. The winner of CHF 50,000 and the coveted trophy will be announced on 25 June during Swiss Medtech Day in Bern.

 

 

The companies were selected by a high-calibre jury headed by Prof. Mirko Meboldt of ETH Zurich. «The three finalists impressively demonstrate how innovation and entrepreneurship are propelling the Swiss medtech sector into the future. Their developments contribute in a sustainable manner to the improvement of patient care», says Adrian Hunn, Director of Swiss Medtech.

 

    • evismo – Intelligent remote diagnostics for the heart, sleep, and stress: Zurich-based healthtech company evismo is revolutionising the diagnosis of heart, stress, and sleep disorders. evismo has combined state-of-the-art sensor technology with AI-based software to facilitate early detection of cardiac arrhythmias and more precise diagnoses – directly in the general practitioner’s practice. To-date, over 1,500 specialists rely on their innovative diagnostic services: CardioFlex to diagnose cardiac arrhythmias, RespiFlex to detect sleep apnoea and StressCheck to analyse stress, burnout, and sleep disorders. More about evismo
    • QUMEA – AI-based prevention technology for improved patient safety: This Solothurn-based company is a leader in the field of digital mobility monitoring. The contactless monitoring system developed by QUMEA identifies dangerous situations, alerts caregivers, and helps prevent falls and bedsores in nursing care facilities. Patterns of movement in patients’ rooms are recorded around the clock by a fully anonymous 3D radar sensor. Artificial intelligence analyses this data in real time, identifies risks early on, and alerts the nursing staff when necessary.     • Bonebridge – Efficient bone fracture treatmentThe Bonebridge medtech company based in Zug has been developing implants to treat bone fractures since 2018. Bonebridge’s aim is to work closely with clinics and develop solutions that improve patient care. The focus is on high product quality as well as the ease of clinical application. About the Swiss Medtech Award

Swiss Medtech first launched the Swiss Medtech Award in 2018. The prize money of CHF 50,000 – sponsored by the Sonova group and the Straumann group – recognises outstanding achievements within the Swiss medical technology industry. The expert jury chaired by Prof. Mirko Meboldt, ETH Zurich, evaluates candidates based on patient benefit, improvements in healthcare, and technological pioneering spirit. The winning team is announced and honoured annually at Swiss Medtech Day the most important event for the Swiss medical technology industry.
