Terapet announced the receipt of a non-dilutive grant totalling approximately EUR 1.68 Million from the European Commission through the Eurostars Program.

Terapet SA, is a Geneva-based CERN spin-off supported by FONGIT, developing an innovative platform technology for imaging in nuclear medicine.
The received grant is supported by Innosuisse – the Swiss Innovation Agency, the Ministry for Universities and Research (MUR) and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT).

The combined funding supports the development of a novel Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanner using innovative gamma ray detection technology, to be installed at Bern University Hospital.

This remarkable milestone has been achieved through a collaborative effort from Terapet SA, alongside their partners: Inselspital Department of Nuclear Medicine and  Politecnico di Milano.

Together, they embark on a journey to revolutionise medical imaging, leveraging their collective expertise and dedication to advancing nuclear medicine technologies.

This joint project aims to pioneer the development of a cutting-edge Positron Emission Tomography scanner, which will be installed at Bern University Hospital.

This state-of-the-art scanner promises to enhance diagnostic capabilities and usher in a new era of medical imaging.
