The association “smarter medicine – Choosing Wisely Switzerland” is committed to optimising healthcare in Switzerland. The association is inviting applications for a Research Grant. Up to three research projects may be supported, each with a maximum grant of CHF 20,000.
This year’s call for applications has a telling title: “Deprescribing”. It will reward innovative, practice-oriented projects that help reduce unnecessary medical interventions and promote more appropriate healthcare that is better focused on patients’ needs. The focus must be on medicines, medical interventions or laboratory tests.
Projects may be submitted by individuals, research groups or organisations. Applicants must have obtained their FMH qualification no more than five years ago.
