Professor Cem Gabay has been appointed as the new Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (UNIGE) and Head of the Teaching and Research Department at HUG
Professor Cem Gabay takes on his new roles as of 15 July 2019. The Faculty of Medicine counts 2’800 students and 1’800 staff. Every year, 150 new doctors and 30 new dentists graduate from UNIGE. The Dean wishes to target biomedical studies over the next 4 year programme. During this time, Professor Gabay will be supported by a team of 6 Vice-Deans.
