Are you a biologist, bioinformatician, pathologist, or clinician working in oncology or precision medicine?
Want to better understand how patients’ molecular profiles are generated and interpreted using cutting-edge technologies such as next-generation sequencing and targeted therapies? This programme is for you.
The CAS provides an integrative overview of personalized oncology, covering:
• Tumor biology and genetics
• Molecular pathology
• Clinical bioinformatics
• Clinical oncology
It also explores the technical, regulatory, and ethical challenges of genomic medicine, fosters collaboration across disciplines to support clinical practice and research, and includes a mini-thesis planned in small groups.
The CAS is organised jointly by the University Hospital of Basel, the Lausanne University Hospital and the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB).
