Prix Entreprendre Lausanne Région (PERL)

Over the years, the Prix Entreprendre Lausanne Région (PERL) has become a central element of Lausanne Région’s support for companies based in its member municipalities. The competition helps to create and maintain jobs in the Lausanne region. Apply before 9 January 2026!

PERL awards Lausanne Région officially opens the 24th edition of the PERL awards and invites companies in the Lausanne region to submit their applications. In May 2026, five particularly innovative companies will be awarded CHF 100,000. This applies to high technology, of course, but also to social and craft innovation. Since its creation in 2003, the Prix Entreprendre Lausanne Région (PERL) has supported more than 100 companies in the Lausanne region with a total of CHF 2,300,000. The diversity of the innovative companies rewarded (high-tech, business models, or traditional fields) demonstrates the vitality and inventiveness of the regional economic fabric.

Who can participate?

Any company or project leader can participate, regardless of their sector of activity, as long as the project is developed within the territory of one of the 27 municipalities of the Lausanne Region association. Applications must be submitted by Friday 9 January 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

The PERL awards

The Lausanne Region Entrepreneurship Awards consist of five separate prizes. The winning company will receive the ‘Lausanne Region PERL Trophy’ worth CHF 50,000. The four other winning companies will receive one of the PERL awards worth CHF 10,000 each. Each year, the projects are evaluated by a jury composed of prominent figures from the economic and academic worlds and chaired by Mr Pierre-Antoine Hildbrand, Municipal Councillor in charge of economic affairs for the City of Lausanne. In addition to the 27 member municipalities of the Lausanne Region, the competition is also supported by high-quality partners, some of whom work to raise the profile of the winners.
