In the heart of the Swiss Health Valley, the holding company AEVIS VICTORIA SA is investing more than CHF 100 million in a new medical hub. The ambition is to bring together health care players in a real clinic situation with a luxury hotel experience.

The construction of this 25,000 m2 building dedicated to innovation and healthcare started in 2021. It will host a technical platform with laboratories, R&D rooms, clean rooms, 4 bunkers dedicated to radiotherapy and 2 state-of-the-art operating rooms. The latter, entirely glazed, will be used for demonstrations and training.

11,000 m2 of bare and modular space is available for rent. Several companies such as Accuray and General Electric Healthcare have already reserved their space.

The huge bay window of the 280-seat auditorium opens onto Lake Leman and the Vaud countryside. It is transformed into a giant screen thanks to LED panels that unfold automatically. On the roof, the 6,000 m2 garden terrace extends the restaurant and can be used as a reception area.

“The building has been designed to be flexible and to adapt to the requirements and needs of the companies that will use it as an ephemeral showroom to present their innovations“, says Anna Gräbner, project manager of the Genolier Innovation Hub. “We help them create the best conditions to foster synergies and interactions between physicians, scientists, experts and patients, thus enabling a swift transfer of innovative solutions from bench to bedside”.

This new medical hub will offer a quality hotel experience, in a cosy environment with a breathtaking view of Lake Léman. It is located in the Genolier Healthcare Campus, which hosts the eponymous clinic, known for the quality of its medical services and its luxurious infrastructure, a Cancer Center, and the Nescens Clinic, specialized in aesthetic, preventive and regenerative medicine.
