HEIG-VD, Health System and Management, is pleased to present a series of new continuing education programmes.
The healthcare sector in Switzerland faces many challenges, particularly in social, societal and environmental terms. As a structuring element in organisations, accounting should make it possible to report on, highlight and promote the actions implemented in these areas.
The current accounting framework does not allow for this, either externally through general accounting or internally through management accounting. On the contrary, accounting tends to discourage action, as any action plan is reflected in additional costs that reduce profits.
Competencies
This training course will enable you to:
- Develop an awareness of the theoretical and practical limitations of current accounting models;
- Understand the Swiss and European regulatory context;
- Learn about innovative examples of socio-environmental accounting;
- Articulate these examples of accounting with practical and operational aspects in healthcare organisations.
This training course is particularly aimed at management executives, directors and middle managers in healthcare organisations and institutions.
