This conference, organised by and at Haute Ecole de Santé – Valais Wallis is taking place on 25 February 2026 in Sion

AI, a driver of innovation and sustainability: improving care, supporting caregivers, and rethinking the organization of the healthcare system.
New technologies and AI are transforming clinical practice, from diagnostic assistance to personalized treatment. But they can also help preserve healthcare personnel by lightening the administrative load, improving the organization of patient flows, and optimizing resources. This conference will examine the dual role of AI: as a lever for innovation in the service of patients and as a tool for sustainability in the service of professionals, while raising essential ethical and organizational questions.

🎙️ Jean-Louis Raisaro is an assistant professor and head of the Clinical Data Science Group at the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV). He holds a PhD in computer and communication sciences from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. His work focuses on privacy-preserving artificial intelligence, data interoperability, and hospital optimization.
