Atinary Technologies and Chemspeed Technologies AG have joined forces in a strategic collaboration to accelerate R&D innovation by combining artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation into fully integrated Self-Driving Labs.

As a first milestone, the Atinary SDLabs no-code AI platform is now fully integrated with Chemspeed’s advanced automation systems, allowing real-time, closed-loop optimization and control. This seamless integration enables autonomous experimentation powered by AI and executed by robotics — with applications spanning automated reaction screening, advanced analytics, and process optimization.

To demonstrate this cutting-edge synergy, the partners are unveiling two flagship Self-Driving Labs:

  • Q3 2025: Launch of the first Self-Driving Lab in Basel, Switzerland, hosted at Chemspeed’s demo lab.
  • Q4 2025: Opening of the Atinary Lab in Boston, Massachusetts — the first of its kind in the United States.

These labs will act as collaborative innovation hubs for live demonstrations, client onboarding, and real-world case studies. Each will feature automation packages that include advanced instruments such as the Bruker Fourier 80 benchtop NMR, ensuring end-to-end automation in a user-friendly, compact format.

Looking ahead, Atinary and Chemspeed plan to expand capabilities with additional analytical modalities including Raman, IR, and LC.

This partnership represents a key milestone in advancing cloud-native, AI-driven Design-Make-Learn workflows — enabling machine-to-machine communication in a truly autonomous lab environment. It’s not just a technological leap — it’s a vision of the future of R&D, realized.
