Carewell Gets a FIT Digital Growth Loan

Carewell, the Vaud-based digital platform for managing replacement healthcare staff, has been granted a CHF 200,000 Digital Growth Loan from Fondation pour l’Innovation Technologique (FIT).

The staff shortage in Switzerland is set to worsen, with an expected shortfall of 40,000 people by 2040. Part of the problem is the process of managing replacement staff. Until now, there has been no tool within healthcare institutions to manage replacements, and employment agencies have found it difficult to handle these cases.
 
The platform developed by Carewell addresses this issue with unique multi-platform software that combines internal team management (Carewell pool) and access to an external pool of professionals (Carewell work). In just a few clicks, healthcare institutions can find the right person, first in their own pool and then, if necessary, among external professionals, via a single channel and intelligent matching of needs and profiles.
 
Already used by numerous healthcare institutions in French-speaking Switzerland, Carewell’s innovation will be able to continue its technological and commercial development thanks to a CHF 200,000 Digital Growth loan granted by the FIT.
