Innosuisse has selected 39 new Startup Innovation Projects, providing direct funding to early-stage Swiss companies on the cusp of entering the market. These startups are driving innovation across diverse sectors, from pharma and life sciences to industrial applications and beyond. 7 are located in the Swiss Health Valley.
Through its Startup Innovation Projects programme, Innosuisse offers direct financial support to high-potential, science-based projects led by Swiss startups. The goal is to accelerate market readiness by bridging the critical gap between research and commercialization.
Unlike traditional innovation grants, this program funds startups exclusively, without requiring a research partner. To qualify, companies must:
- Be headquartered in Switzerland
- Have been founded within the past five years
- Employ fewer than 50 full-time equivalents (FTEs)
- Focus on application-oriented research that prepares them for their first market entry
Between October 2024 and July 2025, 39 startups were selected to receive this boost.
