Three high-potential projects from Geneva have been awarded funding through the FONGIT Innovation Fund (FIF), reinforcing the canton’s support for breakthrough technologies in life sciences and precision engineering. InTeeth received a CHF 100,000 FIF Seed Loan to develop the InLiner, the first-ever patented lingual orthodontic aligner. Speqqle, a University of Geneva (UNIGE) spin-off, was granted CHF 100,000 to advance its optical analysis software. Meanwhile, 4D-PicoSense, a research project at UNIGE, secured CHF 50,000 to advance its sensor technology for reliable obstacle detection in the automotive industry and beyond.

InTeeth: Patented Invisible Orthodontic Solutions

InTeeth, a Geneva-based life sciences startup that previously won a FIF Grant in 2022, has been granted a FIF Seed Loan of CHF 100,000. Led by CEO Hugo Meley, who holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Geneva, the company was named a 2025 W.A. de Vigier Award Top 15. InTeeth has developed the patented InLiner, the first-ever lingual aligner that is fixed behind the teeth, offering a discreet, comfortable, and non-invasive alternative to traditional orthodontics. This funding will support continued development of their innovative solution, which enables invisible treatment, no daily removal, easier oral hygiene, and personalized fit for improved patient experience.

Speqqle, a UNIGE spin-off led by founder and CEO Iris Crassee, PhD, has been granted a FIF Seed Loan of CHF 100,000, and UNIGE project 4D-PicoSense has received a FIF Grant of CHF 50,000 to advance its novel sensor technology, aimed at improving obstacle detection for autonomous driving and other applications.
