GenomSys, Swiss spinoff from EPFL, substantially contributed to the development and publication of the new, and only, ISO standard for genomic data (ISO/IEC 23092 MPEG-G, “the MP3 for genomic data”). We recently released a software toolkit to enable MPEG-G powered genomic data processing for everyone and an intuitive germline analysis platform for labs, both CE-marked IVD MD. We also developed a unique connected mobile app for patients to store their own DNA, easily order genomic analyses and connect with lab(s) and specialists for further analyses and counseling.
Our solutions reduce overall costs (storage needs -70%), accelerate data transmission and analyses, facilitate data re-use, assure privacy and guarantee quality and robustness. Swiss-level safe, ISO-13485 quality certified.
