
Swiss Health Valley Startups Shine at Major Pitching Events

The Swiss Health Valley continues to be a powerhouse of innovation, as multiple startups made their mark at major pitching events across Europe. These groundbreaking companies are not only transforming health and wellness but also bringing international recognition to the region.
At Start Contest 2024-2025, PMAX Labs emerged as the grand prize winner with its revolutionary energy gels for athletes. The startup secured CHF 25,000, along with 3 years of business coaching from GENILEM, legal support from Walder Wyss Ltd., and digital development assistance from Infomaniak.
At VivaTech, one of Europe’s premier tech conferences, Lausanne-based Virtuosis won the Klein Wenner Challenge. Their AI-driven vocal biomarkers can detect over 25 mental, cognitive, and metabolic disorders from just a 30-second voice sample.
Another Vaud-based startup, ORYL Photonics took home the Ignite Award at SLAS Europe 2025, earning accolades for their laboratory innovation showcased alongside leading biotech contenders.
At Startup Days in Bern, three Health Valley projects – Carebotics, TheMeal.ch, and ClairVault – received the Team Kick Award of CHF 5,000 each for successfully completing Talent Kick milestones and delivering standout pitches.
Lastly, VitalizeDx claimed the Innovation Prize at Rimini Wellness 2025, Europe’s largest SportTech fair, for its pioneering work in biodynamic twins and precision performance.
These successes highlight the incredible momentum of the Swiss Health Valley, as it continues to be a beacon for healthtech and biotech innovation across the continent.
