BRIDGE – Proof of Concept & Discovery

Innosuisse and the SNSF are launching a call for proposals for the funding schemes BRIDGE Discovery and BRIDGE Proof of Concept. Apply before 3 March 2025 and 25 March 2025.

Proof of concept

I’m a young researcher or scientist with an idea to turn my results into a social or commercial innovation. I’m looking for an opportunity to test and refine my idea.

• My Swiss research institution supports me throughout the project;
• I have acquired research experience as part of my bachelor’s or master’s degree (one or more in the last four years); or
• I have completed my doctoral studies within the last four years, or I am at the point where I will be working within the next six months;
• I would like to apply for an individual title.

Discovery

I’m a researcher or experimental researcher and I want to develop an innovative idea by exploring and then translating the innovative potential of my research results into practice.

• My innovation has a social and economic impact;
• Research carried out by a Swiss research institute;
• I have the necessary skills to carry out a research project;
• I am submitting my project as a single applicant or as part of a small consortium (maximum 3 applications).
