BioAlps Association is proud to be part of the Western Switzerland Regional Innovation System (RIS-SO) as its life sciences cluster.

Run by the “Association Réseau Innovation Suisse Occidentale “, RIS-SO is an interactive network covering Western Switzerland (FR, VD, VS, NE, GE, JU), enabling SMEs and start-ups to develop innovative projects and bring them to fruition.

In order to do so, the RIS-SO finances four different sector platforms with the mission to promote Western Switzerland as a centre of excellence and to implement measures encouraging knowledge transfer and innovation in four sectors:

• life sciences (BioAlps),
• information and digital technologies (Alp ICT),
• micronanotechnologies (Micronarc)
• clean technologies (CleantechAlps)
