Register for HEIG-VD’s microcertification “Participatory management and governance in the health sector” before 15 September 2025.
HEIG-VD, Health System and Management, is pleased to present a series of new continuing education programmes.
While there are many so-called ‘agile’ governance and management methods, creating the conditions for applying them in the healthcare sector is no easy task.
This micro-certification aims to impart theoretical and empirical knowledge that will enable participants to improve their ability to work across disciplines, as well as with patients and their families, with a view to enhancing the value of the services and technologies offered by the company or institution.
Competencies
This training course will enable you to:
- Master the key concepts of innovation and value creation in the context of interprofessional collaboration and partnership with patients and their families;
- Understand the theories, models and experiences developed abroad, in Switzerland and in the canton of Vaud, and discuss their strengths and weaknesses;
- Develop an approach that creates the conditions for this type of innovation;
- Mobilise the knowledge, skills and expertise acquired in the context of an institutional, intra- or entrepreneurial project;
- Be able to develop a set of indicators to report on the results of these initiatives and consider how these indicators can be linked to standard indicators used to assess the quality and safety of care in the canton of Vaud and Switzerland.
This training course is particularly aimed at management executives, directors and middle managers in healthcare organisations and institutions.
You can join an information session dedicated to micro-certification in the field of health on 25 August 2025.
