Rheon Medical acquires the CE Marking

Rheon Medical to launch its eyeWatch product on the Swiss and EU markets

The Vaud-based startup, Rheon Medical, specialised in non-invasive surgical treatments for glaucoma, has acquired the CE Marking for its eyeWatch^TM product. This ocular implant enables an efficient control of intraocular pressure thanks to its unique technology and external control device.

Rheon Medical’s achievement is a strong synergy example between western Switzerland actors. eyeWatch is the result of an effective partnership between the Vaud-based startup and Neuchâtel-based Coat-X, which specialises in multilayer precision coating. Coat-X’ technology is used to protect eyeWatch’s magnets, which is key to the devices’ robustness.
