Apply before 8 October 2025 for the Swiss Data Science Centre (SDSC) and the Canton of Vaud call for projects
The collaboration between the Swiss Data Science Centre (SDSC) and the Canton of Vaud aims to generate a tangible and lasting impact on the economy and public community of the Vaud region. Within this framework, the SDSC supports collaborative projects in the field of data science, bringing together the strengths of academic excellence, businesses, particularly SMEs, and cantonal public actors.
Financial support and technical expertise are provided to projects selected through a competitive call for applications, evaluated jointly by a group of experts and a committee comprising the SDSC, representatives of the Canton of Vaud’s Department of Economic Development and Innovation (SPEI), representatives from academia, the private sector and Biopôle. Beneficiaries must be based in the canton of Vaud. They may be companies, academic/industrial consortia or representatives of the cantonal public administration
What you can get?
– Up to CHF 125,000 in financial support
– The expertise of SDSC data scientists and engineers
– 12 months of support to bring your project to fruition
– Priority areas (but not exclusive): Energy & sustainability, Health & biomedicine, Social impact & digital transformation
Who can apply?
SMEs, academic/industrial consortia or public actors based in the canton of Vaud.
