HUG | Preventive treatment for people in contact with COVID-19 patients
The HUG launch a clinical trial called CoPEP to validate a preventive treatment for patients which have been in contact with COVID-19 infected patients.
The trial will be divided in three parts. The first two parts of the trial will test the efficiency of both hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malaria drug, and lopinavir/ritonavir, an anti-HIV drug. The third part will focus on a close clinical monitoring of these patients.
